last month saw the release of 20 or so NBC Universal movies to download via Xbox Live Market Place, today it has been announced that NBC Universals console movies and tv distribution will grow with the news that movies and tv shows will be made available on the PlayStation Network in the US for the same price as they are offered for on the itunes store
Effective immediately new episodes of TV shows, such as The Office, Heroes and Battlestar Galactica, will be available in the US on the PlayStation Network in both HD and SD the day after they are aired on TV.
Universal Pictures will also provide its line-up of new releases and back catalogue titles.
