Sony has announced that 2 million Playstation 3 systems have been sold in the UK in the run up to the second anniversary of its launch in europe. they have been 4 different vairents of the consol in the UK the most recent the 160 gigabyte limmited edition console that was bundled with 4 PSN games to download. recently Sony has taken to bundling there own games with the consol with most retailers selling consoles with either little big planet or recently Killzone, they has also been consoles shipped with PES 09 and COD w@w.
With several ps3 exclusive titles coming and the fact that the console can be used as a pvr using play TV, has a web browser that can be used to do anythink you could do in firefox, and the bluray disk function add to that theres no common fault as with RROD on the 360 and that its free to play online as apposed to £40 a year means that the ps3 take up is soon to crow as many xbox users come to the end off there 3 year extended RROD warrenty.
Sony hope that over the comming months and with the creditcrunch taking a bigger crip people will choose to go for a larger all in one system for all the home entertainment needs.
